I taught writing to lots of people, sixth grade through graduate school, for lots of years. I did write with my students, but the teaching was first.

Now it’s my turn to make the writing first.

I am working on a novel titled Altitude Sickness, A Love Story.  Two of my short stories and one of my essays have won awards in recent years.  I love to read and write poetry.

I live in Farmington, New Mexico, with my husband who is a bass trombone player and composer/arranger.
