My novel Altitude Adjustment, is looking for a home. My short stories, essays, and poetry have won awards in recent years. I am also working on a collection of observations, opinions, and stories titled New Mexico Elsewhere. In the queue after that is a cozy mystery. Devil’s Trumpet is the working title.

I taught writing, sixth grade through graduate school. I did write with my students, but the teaching was first.

Now it’s my turn to make the writing first.

I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with my husband who is a bass trombone player and composer/arranger.
